The event communication agency PARTI PRIS selected the know-how of DCOMDRONE to make aerial shots by drone of the event set produced for NETFLIX and the GALERIES LAFAYETTE HAUSMANN PARIS for the release of the new animated movie "Over the moon", directed by Glen Keane.

The coordination meeting with the PARTI PRIS agency and the GALERIES LAFAYETTE HAUSMANN PARIS teams set the strict rules for our intervention. The operations department and particularly the fire safety department took our intentions into account. We discussed the possibilities of flying over the panoramic terrace, the security perimeter, the possible days and time slots.
No overflight of Paris by drone without the authorization of the police headquarters.
Like each time we have to organise drone shots in the French capital, we first obtained an overflight authorization letter from the management of Galeries Lafayette Stores, the owner of the overflown land. We then sent our complete drone overflight request file to the Paris police headquarters, which is the authority to lift the drone flight ban. At the same time, we also contacted the Paris Region Air Navigation Service, which controls all aircraft (even those without a pilot on board). We knew it was wise to plan a week for all of this.

And why not meet on a Sunday morning at 6:30? It was the perfect time. Favorable weather and light conditions. A range of 3 hours to produce all the expected images. One regret all the same: the white tarpaulin that covers and protects the magnificent dome so characteristic of the GALERIES LAFAYETTE HAUSMANN that we would have liked to film. For the next time !
