REGULATIONS
The use of an uninhabited civil aircraft (drone) is considered as an airline activity and therefore falls under the regulations applicable to civil aviation.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY AND LEISURE ACTIVITY
In 2012, the DGAC set up a regulatory framework to ensure the safe operations of drones for professional use .
DCOMDRONE operates in aerial work and its activity is declared to the services of the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) under operator number ED 01608
Our activities and materials meet the requirements of the Decree of December 3, 2020, relating to the definition of national standard scenarios.
Our missions and flight plans comply with the airspace requirements defined in the decree of December 3, 2020 relating to the use of airspace by unmanned aircraft on board .
Our production of aerial photos and videos complies with the provisions of article D. 133-10 of the civil aviation code and the decree of July 27, 2005.
When a drone is used for leisure, out of aeromodelling associated activities,
THEN, FLYING IN URBAN AREAS ABOVE PUBLIC SPACES IS PROHIBITED.
SPECIFIC CASE OF AN URBAN FLIGHT
The use of an uninhabited civil aircraft (drone) is considered as an airline activity and therefore falls under the regulations applicable to civil aviation.
Declaration of activity to the DGAC.
Drafting of a MAP.
Professional insurance.
Certificate of theoretical aeronautical aptitude. Declaration of Competence Level (DNC).
Drone mass < 8kg.
Parachute if > 2kg.
Approved aircraft.
Compulsory declaration in the prefecture
5 days before the flight.
During the flight, 100 meters maximum
between the drone and the remote pilot.
Maximum flight height of 120 meters. Possible restrictions in civil or military controlled air zones.
The operator has a permanent visual contact with the drone
Flying over people is prohibited.
The establishment of a security perimeter is mandatory.
The flight takes place during the day.
Night flights require an exemption delivered by the prefecture.
